Building the future of Michigan Executive Education![]() In 2004, the University of Michigan Business School received an
unprecedented gift of $100 million from Stephen Ross and renamed the school in
his honor. The gift is intended to be truly transformative, propelling the
Stephen M. Ross School of Business to new heights of achievement and success. Temporary Quarters for Executive EducationAs a result of the build out, our Executive Education programs have moved to new classroom and office space located in the Michigan Information Technology Center (MITC) about two miles south of the main University campus. ![]() This building, which opened in March, 2005, is a state-of-the-art education and conference center with ultra-modern equipment and connectivity--a fitting setting for leading Michigan Executive Education into the future. Sharing the new facility with us are Internet2 and Merit Network, Inc., who will be collaborating with us to advance the future delivery of executive education, by combining the strength of traditional classroom methods with the power of tomorrow's high-performance network architecture. And our partnership with Steelcase will offer opportunities for experimentation with furnishings and equipment to enhance the live educational experience. Note: As of September 2005, the Executive Residence is no longer in service for Executive Education participants. |
