About 70% of companies are experiencing moderate to major leadership shortage around the world, and Asia is not alone in losing trained and skilled managers when competitors are willing to enter a bidding war.
Managing talent has never been more important and often it is left to the individual line managers to fight to retain individual members of staff when a formal support system does not exist at all. |
|
The role of talent management and retention should be the responsibility of all managers in some respect. Talent Management and Retention is ideal for mid or senior managers and human resource professionals who are interested in better leveraging individual and organizational effort expended on talent management and development. |
- Assess your company culture and core competency model
- Develop a plan to attract, keep, and develop good people
- Measure talent strategies for values and results
- Create an engaging workforce
- Manage situations effectively before losing your key employees
- Develop talent pipelines (positions/roles/career paths) in your organization that reflect the critical trends and challenges your organization is facing (Right Positions, Right People, Aligned Organizational Structure, etc.)
