Who Should Attend Strategies for Growth-Shanghai

The Strategies for Growth-Shanghai, China program is designed for middle to senior level managers who have or will have responsibility for strategic planning and decision-making, including vice presidents, general managers and corporate planners. Directors of functional areas such as marketing, operations, finance and business development will also benefit from the cross-functional insights the program provides.

This program delivery in Shanghai is designed for emerging leaders in China. All the materials and presentations shall be in English, however, supplementary copies translated into simplified Chinese of some core materials shall be available for reference and ease of learning.

Learning Objectives

With increasing pressure to grow from all constituencies, a major challenge facing managers is how to grow the company-even if the industry is not growing. Recognizing that a growth strategy is always controversial, the Strategies for Growth program will develop a framework for determining direction and mode of growth and the trade-offs and advantages of each choice. Following a multi-disciplinary approach, we will discuss the strategic and financial issues related to growth, acquisitions, corporate governance and capital markets, as well as the organizational challenges in implementing the growth strategy.

Some of the materials will be translated into simplified Chinese characters
