The premise of Management of Managers--Hong Kong is that effective leaders need multiple skills to allow for flexibility in successfully managing and leading in diverse situations. Effective leaders understand the subtleties of personal interaction and how they relate to the performance objectives of their organization. This five-day course provides a conceptual framework for evaluating your managerial skills and organization characteristics illustrating how they work in your organization. In order to initiate a personalized action plan for developing strong people related skills, participants will use a High-Performing Self Assessment (please see Unique Feature). Comparison of specific feedback will provide insight into your specific managerial style and effectiveness. Participants will also complete a self-assessment providing insight to their profile using the Competing Values Framework. |
Who Should Attend Management of Managers-Hong Kong This program will benefit senior managers who are responsible for planning and directing daily operations of an organizational unit. Participants generally have at least seven years of managerial experience in public or private organizations. |

Before your arrival, you will be asked to complete a High-Performing Self-Assessment and distribute a similar assessment to others who are familiar with your work both inside and outside your organization. The results will provide insight into your leadership values and effectiveness and form the basis for the personalized action plan you develop during the program.
Another unique feature of the Management of Managers program is the post-program follow-up discussion where a faculty member will contact participants to discuss their progress in applying their personal action agendas, Opportunities for individual consultation with the program faculty regarding the High-Performing Self-Assessment are also available. |
