This two-day Healthcare Marketing Management module consists of a presentation of the theoretical framework of Healthcare Marketing Management, specific examples, and a participant workshop. This course includes a prereading assignment which will be sent to participants several weeks before the course starts. |

Healthcare Marketing Management is part of the Healthcare Management Series, a Certificate Program for Clinicians and Senior Administrators presented in a modular format
The University of Michigan's schools of Business and Medicine collaborate to offer this unique management program for healthcare leaders in six two-day modules that make it easier for clinicians and senior administrators to fit into busy work schedules.
Complete five of the six modules and receive the University of Michigan Certificate in Healthcare Management, or take only the modules that interest you most. |
DAY 1 Participants are introduced to "The Big Picture," an integrated framework that links strategy to execution utilizing a systems-thinking approach. They will engage in team and individual activities that lead to a keen understanding of how the various clinical and operational groups within the healthcare organization are linked to each other and to the overall strategy of the organization.
DAY 2 focuses on the systems and processes necessary to achieve service excellence and high levels of patient satisfaction. Particpants use the framework to devise a patient-focused delivery system and the appropriate measurements to ensure quality, satisfaction, and patient loyalty. |
