Answer: Half of our respondents were expanding the influence of Lean manufacturing principles to more functions, such as accounting and finance.  One quarter of our respondents are initiating comprehensive review processes, and the last quarter are paring down space or spending.

"While it is common  for business executives to neglect self-care, it is even more important than usual to make time to restore energy depleted by work pressures.  Getting exercise, enough sleep, eating well and taking relaxing breaks can help executives cope with the pressures that accompany making the tough decisions in this economic climate. "
