Ilan Gewurz
|
Ilan Gewurz is an attorney and management consultant with a special interest in negotiations, conflict resolution, and organizational change management. He specializes in the role of mindsets and behaviors in the process of negotiations as well as organizational and cultural transformation. He has designed and delivered executive trainings around the world focusing on leadership development, effective communication and negotiations.
He spent three years with McKinsey & Company where he specialized in organizational change. During his time at McKinsey Ilan worked projects including:
- Organizational redesign and transformation in a major US pharmaceutical company; a major UK retail bank and an Israeli fixed line telecommunications operator
- Marketing strategy and planning for major international retail bank, including purchasing of content and negotiating with advertising suppliers
- Fleet strategy for an international airline
- Negotiation strategy for European pharmaceutical company
Prior to joining McKinsey & Company Ilan worked at the Alternative Dispute Resolution program in the 9th Circuit federal court in Northern California where he helped train court-appointed mediators. He has facilitated cross-cultural dialogue groups, including Israeli-Palestinian dialogue groups and participant in Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative Summer program in 2005.
He holds a J.D. in law from Stanford University Law School where he specialized in alternative dispute resolution; an MSc. in International Relations with a focus on cross-cultural dialogue from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University.
