Jack Simonetti

Executive Education Professor



Dr. Jack L. Simonetti is an Adjunct Professor of Executive Education at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where he has taught for more than 20 years. Jack is also Professor Emeritus of Management at the University of Toledo where he received a number of outstanding teacher awards during his distinguished career. He was honored for his teaching by the University of Toledo's College of Business Administration when they created the Dr. Jack L. Simonetti Graduate Teaching Award to recognize graduate teaching excellence in the College.

Jack has more than 100 publications in leading management and business journals both in the U.S. and internationally, and his research has been cited in a variety of sources. Dr. Simonetti has co-authored two books in the University of Michigan's Pressing Problems Series, Getting Results: The Five Absolutes for High Performance and Strategic Interviewing: How to Hire Good People.

Prior to his academic career, Jack had extensive industrial experience with the B.F. Goodrich Company where he was responsible for a variety of employee relations functions. He has extensive consulting and executive education experience in a wide variety of public and private sector organizations both in the U.S. and internationally.
